Controls for media capture around clients, subjects, property, and bystanders.

  • Obtain site/subject permissions and define privacy, release, retention and delivery terms.
  • Scout sun, reflections, background, subject/vehicle movement, wires and bystanders.
  • Design shots that avoid flight over nonparticipants and moving vehicles unless eligible.
  • Separate camera operator when framing workload would impair aircraft scanning.
  • Remote PIC announces abort/traffic; the shot never delays yielding or landing.
  • Lock exposure/color only when appropriate; verify focus, motion blur, storage and timestamps.
  • Abort for subject incursion, VLOS degradation, fixation, unexpected traffic or energy limit.
  • Postflight validate representative files before leaving; preserve flight/permission records.
